This Special edition gold accent on the septum has undergone three firings, the last glazed with a 14k Gold Luster.

In the pueblos originarios, gold was a manifestation of the sacred associated with the sun. In Colombia, ceramic pieces containing gold were offered to the gods. The combination of ceramic and gold reflected the deep belief that material objects could serve as vessels for spiritual strength, honoring the gods and reinforcing the harmonious relationship between humans and the natural world.
