Maiz del Pueblo (Pendant)

$50.00

One of a kind individually hand-built ceramic pendant. Inspired by ancestral roots and our connection to this sacred material.

This Collection of pendants highlights the importance of honoring the land, and carrying symbols that represent the essence of el campo. Understandings the corn and cacao as sacred sources of nourishment, medicine, and relationship.

The corn reflects teachings of renewal, abundance, and human connection to the land. In many Indigenous traditions of the Americas, maize is understood as a source of life itself, embodying resilience, reciprocity, and the continuity of generations.

Pre-Colombian communities often carried figure amulets and pendants as symbols of identity, ancestry, protection, and spiritual connection. These small objects could represent revered ancestors, deities, or powerful forces believed to guide, safeguard, and strengthen the person carrying it.
