This Special edition gold accent on the septum has undergone three firings, the last one containing Gold Luster, which is an overglaze containing actual gold.

In the ancient Americas, gold was a manifestation of the sacred associated with the sun. In Colombia offerings containing gold pieces were offered to the gods.
